Moon Speedz is having a mini competition from 4.30pm to 8.30pm. Tomorrow 24/10/2009

50cents per ticket.

The surprisingly , the bridge turns out to be a killer for me... not the mini humps..

Only manage to clock in after 2+ hrs of trying...

Hello fellow racer, what a sunday. On that day was my 3yr old son first competition haha. and because of him i touch these car again after over 10yrs. Tried using atomic but fly off alot of time but when we use torque we manage to clock 17s lol but good try for first time. Anyway i just came back from moonspeed and get the car overhaul lol. All the way from jurong to pasir ris to meet Ben but this guy is great. Great thanks to him. Now it seem that my son can't wait for 8 NOV at serangoon. Anyway friends, below are some video my wife take on that sunday and also some training session at our void deck Jurong West 923 which we always play every sat evening. Enjoy! u are from the westside, wow, osama and me will be very happy becasue we live at the west side, ever since planet element at jurong west ST 42 close down there is no more tracks setup at west area now

Nice one!! Those cars seem fast in those videos.. I have 2 sets of such 2 lane tracks myself, still trying to find at least another 2 sets to form that kinda size in those videos.. Well, lets put our cars to the race on Nov 8th over at Hougang PLaza..

Yeah most of the shop in jurong have close. A bookshop at gek poh still selling some parts. the bookshop at st 91 still selling but only cars.

For me, i and my two brother in law have total of 6 track hehe. Sometime everyweek we got headache of what track to setup.

RULES & REGULATIONS - 08 November 2009 Hougang Plaza



1) Any Tamiya Mini 4WD Chassis can be used only.

2) Machines must be 4-Wheel-Drive , 2 Wheels strictly not allowed.

3) Any Tamiya Mini 4WD motors can be used.

4) Tires Diameter must be 22-35mm front and rear.

4) Only Alkaline ' AA' Battery sold on the event day itself , be allowed to use in the competition.

5) Tamiya Race Officials' decisions is final.



RACE STYLE :



' Time Attack' qualifying format will be used.

Queue for qualifying will cease at 4.15pm.( Queue numbers will be given at this stage)

We do not accept any late entries and strictly no jumping of queue is allowed .



The racer who clock the fastest timing from this race is eventually the Ultimate Mini 4WD Champion.

There will be 8 winners overall.



Please register for a number tag AND a Time-Keeping Card before you proceed to Race Area.

Registration - SGD 3.00 ( 3 Tries Card) , SGD 10.00 ( 15 Tries Card)

how to so called season my motor?

i have 1 ultra dash motor,2 sprint dash motor,1 plasma dash motor and 1rev-tuned motor . the problem is tat i dont know how to SEASON it... i always get BULLIED at the track cos i am 13 and my car is too slow so can some helpful samaritan teach me?

Hi there, my few friends and I started around the same age as you did, same plight happen to us too then.. Got bullied by people who are more experienced then us last time.. However over the years, we learn by going to different area, by playing on different types of track too.. A point to take note, never give up so easy, envying others all that.. Approach the owner of that certain shop, and perhaps they might give you some assistance on how to set-up your car, what kinda batteries to use to make it go faster..

Do note tat Tamiya mini 4wd is a "expensive" hobby, do note that you buy the right item and take cares of them well.. Anyway, you can look at the following link for more info on how to season a motor.. Its a forum where many veterans gather and share experiences about this hobby..
