Tamiya Mini 4WD anyone?

i have 1 ultra dash motor,2 sprint dash motor,1 plasma dash motor and 1rev-tuned motor . the problem is tat i dont know how to SEASON it... i always get BULLIED at the track cos i am 13 and my car is too slow so can some helpful samaritan teach me?

hoho, that kinda prob happent o me too when i jus started playing, but i started at age of 15. also used to envy ppl's car running that fast, but after i manage to get the stuffs and money for it, i can do the samething, now the kids are envying me

something extra, u can hav various way of ppl envying u, speed is one thing, ur cover design is another thing, like use the RC mini 4wd cars and run(coz kids never see before) or use those jap edition cars to run like me, of coz if u are willing to let ur money fly

Have you heard of 财不可露眼?? For us, its 车不可露眼, unless you wan your things to get stolen by telling people what you have and everything you bring out and use..

RULES & REGULATIONS - 08 November 2009 Hougang Plaza



1) Any Tamiya Mini 4WD Chassis can be used only.

2) Machines must be 4-Wheel-Drive , 2 Wheels strictly not allowed.

3) Any Tamiya Mini 4WD motors can be used.

4) Tires Diameter must be 22-35mm front and rear.

4) Only Alkaline ' AA' Battery sold on the event day itself , be allowed to use in the competition.

5) Tamiya Race Officials' decisions is final.



RACE STYLE :



' Time Attack' qualifying format will be used.

Queue for qualifying will cease at 4.15pm.( Queue numbers will be given at this stage)

We do not accept any late entries and strictly no jumping of queue is allowed .



The racer who clock the fastest timing from this race is eventually the Ultimate Mini 4WD Champion.

There will be 8 winners overall.



Please register for a number tag AND a Time-Keeping Card before you proceed to Race Area.

Registration - SGD 3.00 ( 3 Tries Card) , SGD 10.00 ( 15 Tries Card)

Sprint dash, ultra dash, plasma dash are all set in carbon brush.. Rev-tuned are copper brush in it.. Seasoning a motor take awhile, which cant be done overnight like magic.. Follow those instructions you have read, it will make you motor last longer too.. Cars running fast is not based on just the motor itself, but on the car setting as well.. In that same forum I had told you, there are some pictures of cars posted by other racers.. You might wanna take a look at them, or seek advice from the shop owners which you hang out at..

Note that not expensive or best parts/things/motor will make your car go fast, but the effort to learn since you are into this hobby?

@masumane: Fellow racers know you are proud of what you have and own.. Its wise to keep a low profile on what you have got to prevent things got theft am I right?

i hav suffered it once, don worry, i won suffer it again, i lost my sprint dash once, that sprint dash is a seasoned one, can even win a full charge plasma with jus alkaline batttries, now i only hav my rechagable one

You can get good lubrication oil from hardware shops such as homefix.. Or you can use this cleaner spray that is available from stargek, works the same principals too.. The main aim is to "prepare" the motor, so that it can last longer on the long run.. Try not to buy those oil stated with "heavy duty", as they normally strong smelling and messy when used..

Yupz, kean is totally right about not using heavy oil such as WD40.. Chemicals in it breaks down metal so as to remove rust.. If we use that on our motors, its will damage it as well as such oil are strictly not allow in official races..

Hi there, the tyres dimension is it the original or it is slimmer den original. Are Avante's with small bearings as rollers allowed for this competition ?
