i realised something. i don't see anymore 360 degree loops in local tracks and competitions these days. as compared to 10 years ago when tai sing was the importer of tamiya, their tracks will always have the loops plus a few ramps that makes it harder to clear the circuit.

Because now they all play Japan standard. If you put brakes. the car cannot go up the loop.

Wah Tamiya car

When I played last time everybody playing the fully cowled series. Never even hear of the PRO series until I recently googled after reading this thread and the racing rules. Thinking about buying one just for fun and good times sake.

Any major differences between fully cowled and PRO?

imo if your car can do a technical circuit with 360 loops, then the standard of racing will be higher!

the PRO chassis has the motor in the middle. unlike most of the rest with motor at the back, and the only front motor chassis, super FM chassis. The PRO chassis needs a double shaft motor for 4wd.
