Anyone shipped glassware (cups / bowls) from taobao? Any agent to recommend?

I thought of using taobao's consolidation shipping but the boxes always come damaged and I wish not to receive any broken glasses...

I bought few glassware products. I uses theirs shipping. So far no problem.

Just few days ago, received a huge mirror. Perfectly arrived.

usually i nvr see how they calculate it. Heaviest i ever paid for shipping was 40+

You can refer to their rates during checkout, it's rmb21 for first kg and rmb7.4 for subsequent kg. Which shld work out to rmb 34 plus the GST of ur item.

Is your item big? Cos by sea is charged by actual weight vs volumetric weight whichever is higher. So the size of your parcel is a concern also.

As to your question how come some recommend cainiao and some say no, its because cainiao is very strict and they have alot of exclusion. Cannot battery, cannot powder and food, these are only some example. So u need to find out if the item you buying is acceptable for the warehouse or not.

I have been using ezbuy's ezship as I have a collection point near me, they charge by $0.8/500g. You may want to check it out?

Usually medication stuff cannot bah. Even masks oso can't.

I think unless u find 3rd party shipper in china.

But their payment mode quite mafan. Unless u got china cc

Whenever I select consolidating shipment via Taobao app, the default shipping method will be by sea freight. I wanna via air freight but it doesn't allow me to select. The items I purchased are not electronic or battery operated. Anyone experiencing this issue?

I think it's because during placement of order you didn't change the type of freight you want to send by. Afaik, cainiao has different warehouse address for sea and air freight. So if your order is placed with sea freight then of course you won't be able to opt for air when its already in the sea fright warehouse.

I waited 2 weeks already and it seems to still be at “shipped at export terminal”
