I see, oled display set which is not a good thing due to burn inDisplay set, a lot of people press and knock on screens.
If you don’t mind diy self repair, can try opening it up. There’s 2 ribbon cable at the tcon, try unplugging each and check for the screen. If 1 side got issue then it’s possible to narrow down. If both side also cannot then it might be the tcon or panel itself.Bought in April 2021 and early this year saw a steak of line at the very top panel near its frame border and now (June 2023) become completely useless:

Try to submit for warranty submission in April and was rejected because it is a One Year Warranty![]()
Sounds like a case for CASE.Seems they tweak their terms and conditions on their official page which I manage to screenshot:

Thanks for this.I am going to file to CASE soon too,
super terrible service.
you may not believe this but its up to you.
model TCL c825
Warranty 3 years
It was bought end of 2021 from SmartTech, If you buy from TCL Singapore, they r in partnership with SmartTech too.
Delivery then was already a problem.
installation ppl came without the paid swivel bracket & they sent me a defective TV out of the box.
Replacement tv came several days later by 3rd party contractor, which has no experience in installing. the installer tried to force drill the screws on the tv panel till a couple of screws thread went blunt. Can you imagine a brand-new TV and people trying to force screws, those who do drilling will know what i mean.
I rejected the replacement tv & it took some time again for another replacement.
The same team came again but with a more experienced installer.
Note: TV warranty invoice only stated 1 year then, I asked them, and they say the business team yet to update. I asked for a revised copy to be sent to me, until today NEVER receive.
TV got an issue and I raised it to them in April 23. Told me based on my invoice, the tv warranty is only 1 yr. instead of 3yrs . Took them 1 day to verify it's 3 yrs and 9 days later to bring back the TV. Yes, 9 days!
Best of all, same old 3rd party ppl again,
The entire warranty claim process is like begging ppl to repair the TV. Basically, the entire conversation they don't address you by surname, or name, and they don't take the initiative to update your TV status.
The sale team's contact number is just a whatpps number, which can't take a normal call, whatapps call them, but they also don't answer ( i dono why). I asked them to call me, they don't bother.
and when you msg them, I guess its when they are FREE or Happy then they will reply to you. To date it's ONLY when I msg them, then I get to know the "status" and it takes days to reply -- the standard SOP answer, parts replaced however still got problem blah blah. It will be a miracle if you do receive msg from them.
my final say is this, The savings gained by not purchasing an established brand are not worth the inconvenience, and anger you will experience. Really a waste of time dealing with such a company with no after-sales service.
I seriously doubt they will be able to repair the TV. If they do honour the warranty, perhaps they might give me a re-con TV or ask me to top up and get a newer model. I don't know, only thing I know is it's coming to 2 months soon...lolx
Didn't buy cos wife see the knocks and abuse to screen on site.I see, oled display set which is not a good thing due to burn in
My family had a good experience with Philips TV though. I had a HDMI socket problem, and via email, Philips support was able to help me rectify my problem. My brother-in-law's 60" FHD Philips spoilt within warranty period, and Philips gave him a new 65" 4K TV instead (coz old model EOL liao). Nice! Thanks for this.
Totally skipping TCL brand forever.
I hate such service with zero recovery.
Had something of similar experience with Philips where they don't have parts or same replacement model.......thus skipping Philips too.
Seems the recent market warranty service were all horror stories.
The new terms and conditions:
For TCL television sets purchased through FairPrice Xtra and Giant Hypermarket in Singapore, before 30 November 2022 and 06 January 2023 respectively.
I'm not really sure the explanation above; maybe my English is F9
So my faulty TV bought in April 2021 at Giant is eligible or not ?
That is what I think so too and that means my purchase is indeed 3 years warranty. From my understanding, 3 years warranty only applies to sets purchased before those dates?
Need someone to clarify
Had emailed fresh new warranty submission to them. The new terms and conditions:

very likely they can drag your repair until your TV out of warranty..Had emailed fresh new warranty submission to them.
Submitted both screenshot and pdf file captured on the warranty page as well.
I will like to check how long the TCL technician needed to diagnose and repair the tv...bought my 65 inch last July ..no display beginning of June and they collected back the TV ...until now no news from them and when I Whatsapp them ..they say waiting for the diagnose and repair report.
