2) WORDS THAT SOUND DIFFERENT IN SPEECH AND SONGS
Here are some words that are used differently in speech and songs. Same meaning but different pronunciation:

| 睇 Tai (to see) | 看 Hon (to see) |
| 嘅 Gei (belonging to) | 的 Tek (belonging to) |
| 好多 Hou dor (many) | 很多 Han dor (many) |
| 呢個 Ni gor (this) | 這 Zei (this) |
| 冇 Mou (don't have) | 没有 Mood yao (don't have) |
| 喊 Hum (to cry) | 哭泣 Hook yap (to cry) |
| 話 Wa (to say/tell) | 告訴 Gou sou (to say/tell) |
| 對唔住 Doy mng juu (sorry) | 對不起 Doy but hoy (sorry) |
