do we need to prebook tickets online, or can purchase on the spot also?

If you know the dates and have to follow your itinerary... best to book first...

Check out their website... their morning and afternoon slots are pretty much sold out for the week ahead...

When i last visited back in 2018... we just dropped by around 3pm+ and got the tickets on the spot... they have admission every 30mins...

U may need to carry your child for 1-2 exhibit halls like the water and bean bag exhibits... the rest should be quite visually stimulating for kids... My youngest was 2yr+ tat time and she thoroughly enjoyed it... have to carry her on the water exhibits but she is able to crawl/roll/bounce around the bean bag...

For the Tokyo Teleport station, managed to find this (search term: 東京テレポート駅 locker)
https://coinlocker.click/tokyoteleport-rinkai-station.php#no1(google translate the page if required)
if you scroll down, their dimension for the "Large" locker is 84cm x 35 cm x 64 cm.

On another site (https://yoyutama.com/1591.html), the dimension is listed as 84.2 cm x 34.2 cm x 57.5 cm.

Maybe it's better that you get confirmation from them (Rinkai and Divercity).
Should be okay, so far my email enquiries to Japanese malls and information centers does get replied.

This is the reply from teleprt
> > The size of the large coin locker installed at Tokyo Teleport Station is "Frontage 34.2 cm x Depth 57.2 cm x Height 84.2 cm".

Ive yet to get a reply from diver city..

My bag is 77.5 by 34 by 55.. Seems like abit of a risk to bring it to try

Hi. I have upcoming trip to Tokyo during during CNY week and like to know whether teamlab planets and borderless are worth a visit . It have set a world record as the most visited museum.

No children with us just Me and wife who are mid 40 plus uncle aunty. So we are no longer a couple who like to take selfies and photo while we are traveling.

I read a lot of reviews and mostly gave positive reviews. I can allocate the time to visit planets and borderless but it will be early evening like 5 to 6pm in weekdays . So should I go both or just choose only just 1? Borderless or planets ? Or should skip both and save the money on elsewhere

It is definitely worth a visit... just choose one to see if you like that kind of visual, audio and even tactile stimulations... if u really like then go the other one also... I only went to the teamLab Planets... it leaves a deep impression and money quite well spent sense...

best to book first as the queue can be quite long

Also there is a water section , so wear short pants or pants that can fold up to your knee

Visited teamlab borderless last week. We went in before 5pm. Typical crowds. What I like there is free locker available to keep your belonging and also lock provided for your luggage to chain there.

I spend about less than 2 hours there .

Probably me and wife were tired after traveling from Nagano . The exhibit caused me eyestrain and head also feel giddy . My wife also feel the same. Maybe it could be better if u visit in the morning when u r fresh.

Went teamLab Planets last Thu. Nice, but not as awe-inspiring as hyped.
My slot is 6-630pm, spent about 2 hrs there.
Basically there are 3 sections, Water, Forest and Garden, if I can remember correctly.
Water is the main area where the famous (and wet) exhibits are, one or two of which can make you quite dizzy.
Forest and garden are really nothing much, especially the latter. Athletic Forest has some interactive physical activities that kids will enjoy I think.

Bought my tix from klook pre-trip, took metro to Toyosu station and walked about 1 km to and from teamLab.
