The only attractive thing abt StarHub is their SGD320 port in discount for CIS.

They have port in discount and monthly 25% off the bill also?

Yes, for various reasons. Like since SG did not have a 5g network yet, phone makers dunno what specs sg use so they prolly did not bake the settings into the phone.

buy with telco 2 years contract the price is actually cheap due to the subsidy.

Haha. Yeah iPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB on Starhub is $415.

Port in -$320 CIS discount = $95 nett payable for the iPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB on the spot

$95/ mth after 20% Co CIS discount = $76/ mth for 60GB (different co has different CIS rate, I think Stanchart employees have 35% or sth)

Total for 2 year subscription $1824 for iPhone Pro Max 256GB.

1824+95 upfront = $1919 for both the iPhone pro max 256gb and 2 year 60GB line.

Super worth for companies that have CIS. HAHA.

Currently starhub and singtel 5G are all NSA, it will be the same for M1 when they announce to launch.

Standalone 5G network will take time to get it up, like how TPG sets up its 5G network, it's a brand new network.

The 5G NSA from the traffic light Telco are all former 4G bands. Software upgraded to show as 5G and improved speeds or same.

Last month I tapped into M1 5G network on my phone, speedtested it and found to be same speed as 4G

Tested singtel 5G got 900mbps. But with more users numbers will be lower.

IMO don’t see the point of gigabit speed with data cap. Unlimited plan will be nice.
