Me freshie too in internet and multimedia.....could any 1 tel me if i shd get lappie at IT fair instead

there is really no much need for u to get a lappy as there will be free access labs for you to do ur stuffs and etc.. but a laptop will be better as u can do ur programming etc anywhere.. i think the school laptop fair will be incomparable to the prices at the IT fair.. during the last day the price will all go low as some of those shops need to clear their stock =)

i dun think there are any rules to restrict u to buy a specified kind of laptop.. if i am wrong mayb u can check with the students form IT school cause i am from engineering course.. I only know that buying laptop from RP requires u to let the school programme the laptop. Cause i saw my RP friends laptop, they need password and such to access the programmes in the laptop.. The school make it as if the laptop is theirs and not the students one..

dunno about now but last time i got my own laptop cos i din like the ones that tp was promoting... but still can connect to the wireless lan as long as you know the network id.

Yes, they will program your laptop. It will allows you to join domain and connect to the internet. If not, you will not be able connect within school compound or at home to the school Leo system.

Good = 9 -12 OR 12-3 OR 3-6 for 1 month. (1 block)
Bad = 9 - 3 OR 12 - 6
Freaking Sh|t = 3- 9 ( Got this last month, luckily i am still alive)
