Hey guys! Glad to see so many TP students around!

For the people still in sec schools, anyone going for this year's Parental Guidance Seminar at TP? It’s a seminar specially catered to parents of this year’s O level students to address their queries and concerns about the options for their child after the O level exam. Seminar will be held on Sat, 18 July at 10am at the Temasek Convention Centre, Temasek Polytechnic. Registration and more information can be found HERE (admission is free).

So any O level students know if their parents will be going?

LOL.... i was from TP too haha... was curious about this thread so come in to take a look... regarding the seminar sounds interesting... i attended it before... its was good.. and highly recommended for those who r taking O levels to join... even if u r not keen to join poly doesnt matter.. go in and listen... it beneficial definitely, in fact i feel like going hahaha : )

Aiya, the gantry put for show only, my classmate drove in with his rented car before without the cashcard/sticker also got in.

As far as I can remember, its free and provided you don't park at the sticker-only area. The only one I know is the IT school carpark. The one further in (Business school) is for sticker-users only. Meh, been awhile since I went back there :x

The Direct Polytechnic Admission (DPA) Exercise is coming up soon! If you already have your heart set on a course and would like to secure a place in TP before taking your ‘O’ levels this year, this is an opportunity you shouldn’t miss. This is especially the case if you’re passionate about a course and are particularly talented in that area.

Don’t forget to come online (http://www.polytechnic.edu.sg/dpa/) and apply starting this Wed, 8 July till Mon, 13 July. It’s a relatively small window, so if you happen to have O level friends who are interested in applying to TP, you get them to come online to register too!

Hmmm...our Poly has over 7 canteens located in different academic schools (eg:Business school, Design School etc).

For some good Malay food, you can go to the design school canteen. For Western food, it'll be the Mensa canteen (you can have a good view of the Bedok Reservoir from there!). And if you feel like Chinese food, you can try the Business School Canteen! Besides our canteens, we also have restaurants run by students in our campus. Top-table is run by our Culinary and Catering Management Students whereas Bistro Walk is run by our Applied Science students.

Check them out when you’re at TP!
