Temp for Samsung 960 evo

Hi guys,

Anyone using this? May I know ur temp?
I am getting 54deg idling.

Side note: I am using Asus X99 sabartooth, the thread of screw provided to tighten the M.2 is too short. Anyone got this problem?

I think the M2 idling is around there.
For me, in AC, I get around 35 degrees idling and gaming it goes to 43 degrees. But I also have a fan sitting on my GPU core just above the M2 and for some reason that has helped alot.

Depends if your SSD is isolated away from heat generating components.

Mine is hidden back chamber of chassis with minimal ventilation, 38-42c in all cases depending on time of the day no airconditioning.

The provide screw to the M.2 has a very short threading, with the m.2 card, i cant get it to screw in, thus nothing holding the card.
I m now using the cover to hold it.

My bad, just noticed that i can mount the card. Ok will try without the cover and monitor the temp

Be it with or without the tuf armor on, when it is on load, it can get pretty toasty.

Worse is the older model like mine 950 pro but scorching 91degC.

With the m.2 heatsink, i'm getting 30degC on idle, while on load it is hovering around 55degC

Higher operating temps with SSDs are not necessarily a bad thing though as long as they don't thermal throttle
