just a thought for those with ilp, how do you ensure that you get above 4% annual yield?

There is no way to ensure. You have to choose your sub-funds carefully.

Insurance increase with age and your "returns" will be affected.

u cant ensure... thou u can try to achieve by considering higher risk fund if ur risk appetite allows... and maybe single premium top ups at a regular basis to invest cos in the first few years... larger portion of ur premiums goes to charges and commissions... hence... still... avoid ilp

Ultimately it is also important to understand if the ILP has front-end loading or works on a back-end loading basis.
