Yes I agree. Lots of people bought fr $360 onwards in the last few weeks. Some intended to sell on deliveries news n some intended to sell on earnings results news. Due to general market weakness sparked by Trump virus news, more people than normal sold last night causing a fall below $418 support. We will probably see more selling on Mon but all these will abate.

Can expect more people to load up soon in anticipation of earnings results in the last week of Oct.

Tesla is a volatile stock.

You are reading it wrongly. The increase was due to the stock split, net short interest has actually gone down steadily over the past year, there are no new short sellers.
