Die liao, die liao. Whack hard for battery day. Now all gone. Why he break the new before battery day? Faintz. Tesla stock going to crash soon. Many will bail out when market reopens.

I think he's trying to control the pricing before Battery Day. Imagine if the stock price get pumped up like crazy to $600 then he breaks the news afterwards. It may crash back to $300 levels. A lot of people will lose money and get very pissed off.

This is actually quite responsible of him. Much respect to that.

And then that's that last line 'Unless we take action ourselves.' Action like releasing a newer higher capacity battery that takes a shorter time to produce? Very clever, Elon. Well played.

GG for those who bought due to Battery Day.

gg for the good or gg for the bad?

they have supply issue because of overwhelming demand, which they plan to fix
that should be good news right? since they can price higher

already down almost 6% post selling. People see sure panic sell. Stock price will likely down further once market reopens.

two types of people here.

The gamblers - the type that buy and expect to flip on battery day.

The vested - The ones who understands the fundamentals of the company.

whatever it is, if it dips. i'll buy more.

Fundamentals of Tesla? Haha.

As much as I believe the bulls will say Tesla is not a typical car company, but calling it fundamentals I think a bit of a stretch.

It’s more like the idea and vision of the company

Yep. BD announcement will bring it back to 450-500 highs. Depending on news - i.e. including the tweet stating no mass production until 2022 or 2033 - I expect a selloff then the price to slowly drop by at least 15% over the coming weeks (I may be wrong on this). Of course, Nov election will play a part so who knows.

Everyone talking about battery day, wont it be priced in? It is so hyped up and if it doesnt live up to expectation will tsla drop? Like a domino effect from the slightest bad news.

totally agree with you on the idea and vision part. Yes i do mean fundamentals. not sure what is your version on fundamentals. i dont think its a stretch.

Apart from financial statements. fundamental also takes into account the competitors, manufacturing, costs and profits, production.

But here's what wiki says.

' Fundamental analysis, in accounting and finance, is the analysis of a business's financial statements (usually to analyze the business's assets, liabilities, and earnings); health;[1] and competitors and markets. It also considers the overall state of the economy and factors including interest rates, production, earnings, employment, GDP, housing, manufacturing and management. There are two basic approaches that can be used: bottom up analysis and top down analysis.[2] These terms are used to distinguish such analysis from other types of investment analysis, such as quantitative and technical.

Fundamental analysis is performed on historical and present data, but with the goal of making financial forecasts. There are several possible objectives:

to conduct a company stock valuation and predict its probable price evolution;
to make a projection on its business performance;
to evaluate its management and make internal business decisions and/or to calculate its credit risk;
to find out the intrinsic value of the share.''

Based on capital flow report,
in flow by large trading size
outflow by small trading size

One should fully understand the TSLA volatility before owning this stock.

Saw a tweet, quick quick panic sell.. deserved to get swallowed by the whale.

Pre/Post trading hours are full of dramas.
韭菜族!

Should capitalize on the panic dip to buy more...

It may be a trap by Elon Musk to fool the shortist to go shorting TSLA..

I also don't know why after heavy selling, suddenly the price go back up for 5 days..
