so now is 420USD..

so min must 1 contract? the $1k premium indicator come from where?
so what happens if oct 30 the price is 410 or 430 ?
can I do anything before oct 30?

Yes min 1 contract

$10x100 is the mid price of bid and ask of the option lor

If on oct 30 close is 410 you will be assigned 100 shares of tsla at 410, the premium is yours to keep.

If closing is 430 then the put option expire in the money. 1k premium collected.

Yes you can close your position for a profit or loss before oct 30 or roll it to a later date.

Options seldom get assigned early because of the intrinsic value.

what others mentioned to buy via OPTIONS is true and could work.
only catch is if it goes below 410 and then shot back up before expire, and let's say to 450, you will collect the premium only, which much lesser than the actual profile if you had bought the shares.

go read up about the option greeks for measuring risk, theta, delta, gamma, vega.

high implied volatility = higher premium.

in the money options will move more then out of the money options.

short term options will react more then longer term to the same price change.

maybe you can just buy the stock??

I just go by strike price then choose buy or sell

BTW volatility is under extrinsic value?

cuz rike really pointless to know the geeks, everything seem natural and make sense to me

congrats, why not turn on display combo positions? easier to see

i tried to toggle it on and off, makes no difference.
would it be because i bought each leg separately? and it only combine if you have bought them together in the first place?

Tesla very hard to predict for short term. Maybe sell the news, maybe Q3 results already priced in.
Upcoming election and delayed stimulus package also made it worst.
Just look at long term bah..

Few months ago, when the price was at 13xx before split, i remember we had a chat whether to buy more. So now u decided to all in if below $300

i cant understand the logic :s22:

Things have changed since then ma. That time i wasn't even sure if Tesla is going to make a profit in 2Q20. I wasn't sure they were going to deliver the numbers they did.
