But eventually i am guessing we will all spin off to the various other smaller groups of classmates within each respective paths.. but keeping the network is vital for people like us, who are already jumping in late..

I think its an excellent idea and am all for it if you guys are comfortable to reveal your RL accounts.. but while some are ready, some may still be muddling the decision.. i think a group chat(Telegram) will be good to get most of the active ones linked up first..hi dalias,
it is a good idea to setup something for everyone to keep in touch (those in the program and those trying to get into the program). we should strive towards building an all embracing, all for one, supportive tech culture here. lol.
i m thinking whether we should move towards a creation of a facebook group calls "YouNeverTechAlone", "SGTechGeek" or "SGTechCareer". The group will be all embracing for singaporeans and prs who are looking to work in the tech sector in SG, posting tech related posts and job posts. Most importantly, we can build up a supportive tech movement in SG.

The telegram group chat, (PM me to add you), taking into consideration privacy for some of us here could serve useful for now. after the mandatory briefing in Aug, where we will probably meet one and another there.. we can set up the FB group.

About 2 weeks. I can understand how u r feeling now because waiting in suspense is not a good feeling. Have a bit of patience. If u really want an update, do send a polite email to IBF to ask. Usually they will reply in 2 days. Cheers
