this program is a yearly event, maybe try 2022?
Yeah, I came to the conclusion that it will be better for me to finish the current proj at my new workplace at least, then hope next year the program is still around. Dun think it's good for me to just run off after such a short time.

wish you all luck though. And what I understood for cybersecurity is that you may be assigned for SOC shift work. The chances are not high but it is there.

What is SOC shift work, if you don't mind me asking?
A Security Operations Centre. Basically a team handling the company's network security, and since this has to be monitored 24/7, there will be manpower staffing in either morning or night shifts.

I have just received it too. Would love to know what it's like as well!
Same here, just received it as well. Gonna research up a little about it and hopefully complete it over the weekend.

Didn't receive any email from IBF despite signing up on 28 June.. maybe it is because i declared I am not 2 years graduated from my university at the time of application.. but I would be by the time training start if I am selected. I probably gonna try other company since IBF don't appreciate me 🤣

I think that as long as you received an invitation for assessment, you have a chance. You got this!

For those who haven't attempt the CS 1st assessment yet, its just some technical mcq regarding general CS knowledge. Shouldn't be a problem passing it for most ppl and could probably do it within 10mins. 😁

Hey great to hear that! I checked my email and received the invitation as well and suddenly got nervous

10 mins for you I would probably assume that you have some kind of background? Mind to share how many qns are there?

At this point i am not sure how to prepare and reading up stuffs about CS

I don't really have a background in CS actually LOL, I only took some networking n security modules during poly, rest of the general knowledge i got is through google. There are 50 Questions in total. You can read up stuff like types of cyber attack and malware, Encryption/Authentication, social engineering, spoofing. Goodluck (y)
