Any FI u feel more hopeful?
At this juncture, all notes positivity or the very technical ones I also not sure. It does makes me thinks what is my end goal, is it just to get myself into the program regardless of FI or really hope for the best to get into FI with more established teams.

I guess for now just try my best for my interviews and see how it goes next month.

On the note of past TFIP candidates. I have friends whom got converted within the year cause they need people to join their team and also hear that people do drop out. If you drop out within the year some FI may claw back on your training fees spend on the academy. It really depends.

Hi all, I’m trying to stay positive as much as I could. Reading through this forum, Ive read a lot of at least got their interview from different FIs and some even state to have been called up to 5 different FIs, I’m just wondering if I should start looking for other opportunities since I haven’t gotten any interviews after doing the CS assessment by IBF? Appreciate some thoughts and opinions here. And also, congratulations to those who have gone or waiting to attend the interview!

Best to not put all eggs in 1 basket.

Apply for multiple jobs and consider other programmes too.

But take note that some govt funded programmes clashes with each other. E.g. U are only eligible for one / 2 programmes can't overlap etc.

Heard from FIs that offers will be sent out in early Oct. A few days left in Sep for interviews if any..

All the best!

You open more opportunities for yourself. Till end Sept, if you didn't get any interviews should just move on but don't lose hope. Because if all FI only shortlisted those top 'few' candidates and these few ppl can only pick 1 FI or reject offer. Im thinking some FI might not even get 1 from they shortlisted by then not sure how? Interview again or withdraw from the programme?

There is 'confirm offer' and 'wait-list offer' (aka waiting list in case anyone reject).

If both list no taker how? Nvm, given what you say mean, ppl who wait until end sept, no call, no sound, no sight mean can move on already.
If FI has 1 slot for that track, maybe they will --> 1 confirm offer, 5 wait-list.

Quite unlikely all will reject since many who join TFIP are eager to get in..

But if all reject then too bad :ROFLMAO: FIs can always hire in open market anyway..

You can make good use of this time to plan for your Plan B/Plan C while waiting.

I did email in to IBF and ask whether interview might cross over to Oct, their reply is as below:

"You will be notified for assessment or interviews within Sep 2021 if shortlisted.

For the final update to the status of the application, candidates that have not been successful in the TFIP application will be informed in the month of Oct 2021."

They seem sure that interview period will be kept within September. A final update will be sent to all applicants (even for unsuccessful candidates) in October (can be anytime from 1 Oct - 31 Oct lol). It seems like a grey area to me, because who knows if there might be any FIs sending last minute invites in early Oct? (For some tracks the technical assessment was only completed in mid-Sept. They must be very strict with their deadline if they were to complete all selections and interviews within 2 weeks:oops:)

Heard from a few FIs, there's a dateline for them to submit their final selection/offer results to IBF.

So most FIs would be working towards that deadline. Not sure what the less active FIs are doing..

The deadline should be quite firm as what I understand from the FIs I talked to. I was the last or at least the last few person they are talking to already. That is for CS.
