Not many FIs willing to give JD given the nature of the programme - too newbie, give different exposure, can be asked to do more admin work, depends on individual learning speed etc.
Hiring managers are also unwilling to commit to a fix role/responsibility for trainees.

You mean the team mgr? What did she ask?Good god, the BNP Paribas interview was horrible. Interviewer from data leakage team was asking conflicting question that makes no sense at all.. Worst interviewer I've met. Anyone encountered the same thing as me?
Not sure if shes the team manager but she ask for a name for a close colleague of mine in my ex company, so i thought she wanted a name for character reference but she proceed to ask if she were to call (ex colleague name), what would my colleague tell her about their views of me. She is team mgr. She ask the same question. I just gave her a name lor. What that person would think about u, (5 strenght) then she ask u back which of these quality is not true. She could have just said 'A friend/colleague'. I'm not professor X, how in the world would i know what others are thinking. I get that she might be asking because she wanted to find out more about our character but who would admit which 1 is a lie if we were to even mention it in the first place?
On top of that, she had me waiting for 10mins because she didn't realized she had to join the meeting before I was allowed in it. Not even an apology.

I tell you what happened. The HR email to me at 12.50pm and interview at 2pm. I quickly accept the invite and start interview at 2pm. During the interview, the hiring mgr went to take my resume and i got to chit chat with the hr. HR told me that he sent out the email quite awhile and waiting for my acceptance for the invite. The problem is email from recuitpal has no button to click accept. So just chat until the hiring mgr came in and she doesn't even know what this tfip prog cos is their first time. HR has to explain to her. Then she start all the questions and end the interviews.sadly, i dont have the ability to script a story on the spot so fast so i got irritated and replied her that there's conflict of interest in this question and why would say something that is not true LOL
Did the HR contact you other than emailing you the interview schedule? Seems to me like they don't work together. HR didn't provide any information other than setting the interview and the team manager don't really know in details how this programme works
This is the best story i heard for a while! Mine was not so rush as yours, my interview was 1 day after i accepted the interview on recruitalpal website provided by a link in the email. Initially was at 12pm den after a while, they sent another email to reschedule it to 9.30am. I think is my fault that i didnt see that small link inside the recuitalpal email. End of the day, FI can interview many people so now I feel not so hopeful on the offer.
