He said they are still figuring out the process on how they should go about doing it (either ibf send it on your behalf or the financial institution will contact you to ask you to send directly). in the meantime just prepare them first so that you can send them immediately whenever they request for it.

his "updated cv" earlier was the template that ibf asked to use for application. not personal updated cv

as it's still interview phase, almost all the questions posted on the da, full stack or cybersecurity forum now are all about the the recent webinar and interview matters. thus, posting is everywhere now. lol.

REPLY: "we are still in the process of evaluating applicants who are eligible for assessments. the entire process should conclude by end july"

there could still be a possibility to get through to the next round, at least till end july.

maybe there are latecomers and possibly IBF allowed them to take the assessment.

By the way anyone updated their CV already? I updated both my linkedin and github account already. This update is important as having github is one way to show your motivation level and your level of engagement into the technical fields.

What the FI claimed is that they have received the applications late last week and they will reply to the candidates within a week or two if shortlisted further.

whenever i complete or still working on any cert or courses, i will update on my linkedin profile. currently doing a micromasters in analytics. completed 2 out of 3 modules (tough man!). on the last module. take me almost a year to complete. currently working on an AI certificate too.

this is in sharp contrast to last year when I applied, i got nothing to show. lol.

i realized that i actually like studying CS and may go further into doing a part time masters in computer science in the future.

I think u applied for cybersecurity track last year, right? If u did and u passed the assessment last year, IBF will not ask u to take the assessment again when you applied this year.

Lol, it looks like everyone is replying to max since he got invited for interview. By the way from the 2 webinar I attended, it seems that cybersecurity have the most focus there.

Yeah. I’m so nervous and excited at the same time. I do really want to be shortlisted for an interview the least. You’re right. The panelist invited were mainly DA and cybersecurity. We shall see the coming weeks.

I’m quite curious if I “passed” 2 track programme (DA and cyber) will my CV be sent to the 4 FIs that I have selected?

There is no restrictions on how each company choose the candidates. What they looking for besides the CV is your attitude and motivation towards learning technical skills, and also how well you fit into their culture.

actually im always puzzled by the qns '' how u fit into their culture''. like how am i suppose to know when i havent even work with u before? anybody can explain ? thanks

there is always hope as long as you have not received any rejection confirmation

IBF email is a bit funky (some ppl get the emails in junk or spam folder, so wouldnt be surprised if it somehow just didnt get through to your mail or blocked by your email provider)

but the number of applicants for this prog appears to be massive

Yes applied last year. But not invited for interview. I did my assessment very well last year. But not sure tats the case.

No job description. Just asked for the availability and confirmed the time slot. Next week meeting.
