after almost a year of struggling with battery problems, this solution worked for me:

rooted Z5 + Greenify + Doze (app)

I can get about 1 day of battery life (i have over 100 apps on my phone)

:)

I think your main problem is the amount of apps in your phone. :D

I wouldn't know your issues since I have less than 3 pages of apps and games.

Hi, just checking does any of u facing the same problem as me.
1. When i put my Z5 in my pouch, with only 3G & LTE on, the phone will get hot after like 10mins in the pouch. (screen off also). It will get hotter n hotter if I left it in my pouch longer...

2. Radio: the radio will auto turn off itself after the 5~20mins (random) when screen is off.

Thank u all in advance. :)

I just skipped 376 and updated to Customized NOBA 378 last week.
Works pretty well so far. Better battery life, less heat.
No issues to report.

Nougat finally.

Not much difference between 376 and 378.
The latest firmware is actually 2.33.

Yeah, Sony Taiwan skipped the .376 and directly push the latest 2.33 update for their Z5 devices..

Don't know why Sony Singapore push the older update instead, but oh well at least the Nougat is here..

My best guess is Sony mobile SG is late.
Just finished working on 0.376 update after other markets are getting 2.33 update.

But since 2.33 is a minor update, it should not take too long to reach our market.

Anyway, better late than never.

I didnt really blast my speakers to test. But at 1/2 volume setting, it seems fine so far.
I did do a full wipe before and after i flashed though. That usually kills off any minor issues as compared to just flashing while keeping all data.

I should blast it later and see how it goes with and without headphones.
If any issues then i'll try .33
