many places out of stock liao. ..

For those interested to use sony quick charger uch 10!with z5

http://www.xperiablog.net/2015/11/02/sony-quick-charger-uch10-review/

I bought this

http://list.qoo10.sg/item/QUALCOMM-CERTIFIED-AUKEY-QUICK/434818219?selectedOptions=

it really charges faster than the included charger in about 2 hours 8-100 ....tho the phone shows no real indication its quick charging like on battery usage screen...still says charging on AC.

Does z5 really have poor battery life compared to z3? Deciding whether worth the 'upgrade'...

though I am not a Z5 user, I felt Z3 is better, especially on kitkat.does not heat up as easily.
801 VS 810 processor.

I think the Z3 on Lollipop will still beat the Z5 in terms of battery life. The 810 processor on the Z5 (and Z3+) does drain battery faster. I think it's the same on other phones that use the same processor.

Agree, no point upgrading from Z3 to Z5 if battery is most important for you. Still my Xperia Z3 dual gives 6+ hrs of on screen time.

Will enabling stamina mode block incoming messages from WhatsApp, Line, Hangouts, etc?

Based on my z3±, under extended stamina mode, they allow u to add apps that wil continue to be active when yr screen is off.. Z5 shld b able to do this.

The casing is rather "thick", which hinders ease of use of the power button / finger sensor with ease.

Yeah thats my only complaint but I can live with it. Everything else is awesome though-
!

Also i thiughtthe Z5 is good. Never got as hot as the Z3+ and its so beautiful. Hopefully the camera doesnt make me too sad

Yes, I'm using it for my Z3+. It's surprisingly comfortable to hold and don't add much bulk to the phone. :)

I also agree cos using the thin silicon casing for my Z3 Dual and it is comfortable to hold and not slippery. Importantly, it protects the phone all round.

I'm kinda at a loss. the Z5 feels damn good naked (with the exception of the "sharp" edge) I love the feel of the metal and Matt glass but that edge and fear of dropping gas it makes me feel like I should get a case...
