From my first impression,
Sure, the new longish button is welcomed, cos looks nice and new, smtg diff from the old.
But immediately I thought, where is the pressure point of the button? I mean.... Under the long button, is the pressure point right in the middle? Ie, if u press on either of the extreme end, then it doesnt sense anything or do u have to press hard down? Or is the pressure point uniform?
Right now, the circular design of the round button doesnt have any flaws. Its small and round, and its pressure point is evenly spread. U press abit only, u'll get the reaction u're seeking.
If previously it was this long button and then they changed it to the current small round button, mindless blind fanboys would equally excite "yay! Newer and smaller! So its better!"
Dun get me wrong, I'm a fanboy myself
