actually, watching the little camera overview video.. I find that the Z5 kinda takes bad photos indoors - I don't mean just that they look kinda bland and washed out, but the details don't seem to be there and the photo doesn't look crisp like the G4/S6's output.

The video and source link does not show any overheating evidence, it is all words from unknown source.

I would have expect at least a video or two to show overheating, obviously this news is quite unreliable.

They should look at LG and how they are starting to LISTEN to the users... comparison with LG is due to both having great products but somehow not able to gain market share.

Difference with LG is that users are excited about their future because LG are pumping out products based on what the users been screaming about.

To say Sony should listen to users is an under-statement.

To say Sony should look at LG makes me laugh.

If you have ever follow a xperia phone you should know sony listens to user and every single update on the phone fixes the issues previous generation have.

Display issue on Z/Z1. Z2 fixes this.

Better comfort handling, Z3 fixes this.

No more flaps on charging, Z3+ fixes this.

Plus many others. People complains, they look into it and fixes.

For those that is very much into mobile photography, considering that my DSLR only leave the storeroom 4-5 times per year during special occasion, oversharpening is a big issue

For me, I use the phone for snap shots.
It doesnt matter to me thou.
So that I can bring my A7 out every weekend

It's a known fact that LG have bigger shares than Sony. You do not even need to show me this, most here already know that.

Like i said, to say Sony fails to listen is simply an under-statement.

I think LG having the last laugh with double the market share of Sony

They maintained with that percentage till 2nd Quarter of 2015.

...and they continued to listen by adding exceptional video recording capabilities to their new V10. This is in addition to what they give from the things users are screaming about like replaceable batt, SD card expansion, full manual photography control, etc, etc.

Video content creating on mobile are already making inroad with Vine, Periscope, VR tech and soon your Facebook profile pic will be a looping video of yourself.

LG main problem is that they are still adamant about making their phones in Korea instead of the cheaper and faster option of making it in China.

Like I said, Sony have a lot of good things going on and I'm not here to hate.... just want to see a better phone.

No improvement can be made if they only listen to the good stuff... I blasted the LG G4 previously also.

G4 slo-mo video is crap, front facing camera is crap, curved screen probably contributed more to cracked glass, camera window glass easily scratched, etc, etc.

Market share =/= phone improvements

Sony's main business is providing camera sensors. I still like Sony because they are the only who got balls to out flagship hardware in a small form factor phone.
