The Almighty Z5!

looking to seek bros opinions.. im still comtemplating if i should get the z5.

what i like:
- the gorgeous design
- the camera, should be good according to many reviews
- the placement of the fingerprint reader
- the idea of a waterproof phone
- the idea of a dedicated camera button

whats holding me back:
- the system UI, but can be easily overcome with launcher
- the 1080p screen resolution (im currently using the LG G3, its a QHD screen. wondering if the x-reality lives up to its name and bump up the 1080p to look as good as QHD?)

one last question for bros who have the phone: is it true that the dedicated camera button on the z5 can be half-pressed to focus and full-pressed to snap? works just like a dslr's shutter button??

Hi, anyone looking to trade in their Z2 to telco for upgrade to Z5?
I have a Z2 with touch screen problem and would like with exchange your non-problematic so you can use my z2 to trade in.

IIRC Telcos do not care about the condition of the phone, just the charger and phone itself will do. Correct me if i'm wrong on this.

I dunno about others, but M1 does check the humidity indicator.
If they see the litmus paper(?) indicated that your phone kena waterlogged before, they will reject (happened to my Z, when I tried to trade it off for the Z1, but kena rejected cos the papers were all reddish)

This time, though, the litmus paper hidden deep inside Z5, so we cannot see. Hopefully next time the phone can be easily traded off.

And if you trade in without charger, it will cost you $50 more only lor.

I think my Z5 is having the same issue. It stops at 96% while I was charging the first time. Doesn't reach 100%

I just did a factory reset + erase internal memory data. Now charging again to monitor if the issue still persists.

Ok just confirmed that the charging issue has been resolved by a factory reset + internal memory erase.
In case anyone else is experiencing the same issue

Dear all, any recommendations on where to get a rugged casing for the Z5? I have been using those thick phones and can't really get use to the thin Z5. I worry it might drop and break cos its so light. I have checked with the local stores but seems like Z5 is either too new or they are not keen to bring in cases for it.

Just applied glass screenprotector on my Z5 front & back by Jimmy. Excellent quality & service fr him as usual. Now phone looks even more classy
