those highlighted are numbers to its specifications. top megapixels, top resolution, top iso, etc.

whether the quality can be delivered is a separate issue. quality of pictures are the one being debated.

I think you just read the website halfway. Below I quoted from the link and you can also look at the graphs.

The above are based on hardware and raw numbers. Indisputable facts with some qualifications. From there, Sony and Strategy Analytics delve into less objective evaluation. Relying on the blind assessments of 200 UK consumers, the market research company pitted the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact against the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, the HTC One M9, the LG G4, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S6, considered to be the top in the market when it came to camera performance. It probably shouldn't come as a shock that Sony's two smartphone always come at the top, whether it is for still photos or video recording, in criteria like image quality and autofocus speed.

What do you mean redirect?
Every time open it redirect to a page?
Or chrome is unusable? Keep directing to a page?

Tested z5.. The processing time under manual mode is slow. Got to wait abt 2-3 secs bef able to take another shot... Superior auto processing speed is much faster though..

Wonder whether software upgrade wil solve the issue for manual mode

Just an update for you guys. Today my Sony Z5 auto factory reset and wipe out my microSD card content as well. Basically the whole phone somehow auto clean itself up and I wonder what caused it.

I left it in my pants back pocket and after my lunch I took it out and saw that it has restart itself. After that everything is gone. Can't be my butt can trigger the auto factory hard reset. Even the microsd also kena wiped. Zzzzzzz

Nopes. I need to press the power button to wake up. I know you can enable with the double tapping but I did not enable it.Still my butt cannot be so accurate to do a total wipe out of the phone inclusive of the microsd card.

But the camera now has a "new" update. Not sure if they were trying to push the update and caused this uber hard reset. Anyway the camera still have no controls over the ISO if you choose > 8MP. Damn! Why is it so hard to make the user choose the ISO in manual mode when it is at 23MP.

The only time I seen such a "meltdown" was I triggered remote local and wipe from Google device manager, or Protection by my Xperia service.

All gone, including sd card content.

You set a PIN or password to unlock your phone? I had this happen to me twice before. The 2nd time, I saw what had happened. Basically, if you enter the wrong PIN or password wrongly for 8 times, the phone will reset and your internal memory and sd card will be wiped. I saw the prompt about the reset on the 2nd time it happened but it was too late for me to do anything.
