hey, any gurus know how to change the phone number under the 'User'? (top right icon when you pull the shortcuts shade down) I switched telcos but already ported my number but the it is still being recognised as the old one.

It doesn't automatically recognize your number. You'll need to edit by going to the Contacts app then Myself then edit your mobile number.

A few customers have reported that pictures taken with their Xperia Z5 Premium, Z5 or Z5 Compact devices turn out to be blurry in certain areas, e.g. in one of the corners. In such cases our Contact Centers ask Customers to turn to a Service Center for handset diagnosis. If you receive a handset with this fault description please replace the camera module and take a test picture afterwards to verify the camera functionality.

I think you only pressed the Menu option. At the bottom of the above 3 options you mentioned, there's a "More" text with an arrow. Click on the "More" text to see more options.

Washed my Z5 under the tap last night.

Wet it, applied soap, rubbed it and rinsed.

Z5 started to play music thru speaker during the washing coz water got into the earphone jack.

Got a cleaned phone after the wash.

Whenever I get a new (Xperia) phone, I will do a fresh setup, as much as possible. The only content I transfer are my contacts and SMS (using Super Backup), my Whatsapp backup and LINE backup. Other content (e.g. songs, photos, etc) are stored in the SD card, so just plug in the SD card to the new phone. I will then reinstall the apps and setup them all up again. This ensures no conflicts and it's working for me so far.

Thanks! That's what i intended to do, was thinking of transferring contacts, calendar and those basic stuff but still hit error. After many tries, finally able to do it via Xperia mobile transfer (NFC). The PC Companion really is cmi even after so many years.

yeah but the one you're talking about is the Camera 1.0 UI. After I updated to Camera 2.0 and clicked on More i don't see the smile shutter.

Not sure why this is happening but I reverted back to Camera 1.0 and could see the Smile Shutter X_X

SMS to recognise phone no. in msg

Was using Z3 previously and now I am using Z5.

Previously was able to directly call the number indicated by my Missed Call Alert SMS but now not able to.

Is it something that has to be done under "Settings"?
