Same here. Alot of scratches and got those oil? residues. But i'm into metal sharpening. So researching abit into whether can i use a very high grit sandpaper to polish it back. Just afraid of the burberry logo disappearing.

And yes, any other alternatives to tanner goods?? So expensive. Looking for a belt that can age. Want those skinny tan/brown kind. Saw uniqlo had a $50 reversible one. But don't know whether it will age not

why?

Though i pretty much agree that belt arent worth that much usually as its their brand that carries the price tag. This including LV, Hermes, Gucci etc.

Yes agreed that the brand carries a price tag. But if I am paying a few hundred...I would expect decent quality and the ability to last relative to the amt I am paying.

Burberry and Gucci's quality is not very fantastic,I always hear complains from my friends who buy them...they buy it cos it's the entry level price to branded goods and the branding is loud.

I bought my LV Epi Leather belt back in 2008...paid almost $600..yeah it costs much more than Burberry and Gucci but quality wise it's a world of a difference. Most impt part is the back part of the belt which is the part that gets bent...that's the most crucial part...that's where it destroy most belts. The LV Epi leather belt is solid enough to withstand the pressure which most other belts cant...so yeap very happy with it. Just that it's too big for me now hahaha..:s13:
