nice ! :)

want to get a freitag reference line for my next bag :) post pics of our bags! (i can't cos i havent hit 50 posts)

ok justin, here u go.
a mixture of beige brown cotton and cowhide leather, initially was thinking abt the COTeetCIEL, bt cant bring myself to pay such prices for a bag so settle for timberland instead. i find it class enough and most impt, suits my daily needs.

cote et ciel is nice- designed by famous damir doma. if you're gonna use the bag for at least 3yrs, think a $300 dollar bag is justifiable. but always feel one must have a top notch bag for special occasions, maybe an LV.

I agree too justin.ur reply nearly made me regret my purchase instantly. Coteetciel is really class, material use is top notch too. :)
Bt most often formal events i dun carry a bag, n i will choose a branded watch to go along instead.

Wads the price range for ooi.inc? Must be pretty ex.

price is a fraction of big brand names. may be still ex for some, and not for those who can tell a good leather bag from a lousy one.

also the quality of leather is comparable, if not better, to big brand names which are selling past the thousand mark.

believe prices will increase when ooi leather bags get more recognised in future. :)

hey guys, i'm looking for a laptop bag which can fit 14" + another compartment for paper notebook, waterbottle. any recommendation for <$200? preferably not too huge logo or funky colours as i will bring it to work .
kinda like the chrome bags. can they be slung normally or must they be carried on the back like the pics on their website?
timbuk2 looks too casual for me

the chrome metropolis/citizen/mini-metro they are built to be carried on the back, there's other more recent chrome models which are smaller, like classic messenger, corsair, vega that are made to be slung normally.

for office the waxcloth Tommy Work Bag by Property Of... is nice too

How well do bags from Zara/Topman/River Island hold up over time? Can last a year of daily use? They have some nice "inspired" designs on their website, but dunno whether the SG stores carry.
