The mesh pocket can it fit those long shape wallet?
Can. Tested with LV men's long wallet
Also tested with those giant brick-like laptop charger
Even those 20,000 mAh Xiaomi power bank also can.

I never go for those militant minimalist EDC backpack like gr1 cuz I still have the SAF 70L outfield backpack. Which I always use for backpacking or bring to BKK for shopping.

Actually, these type of miltary backpack which has those nylon webbing, you can easily get the attachments and velcro add-on compartments from Any Army market, or Taobao or qoo10

one of my colleagues also has the same backpack... it is indeed very spacious.

but i don't like the exterior design and the back mesh...
personally, i find the overall design very "school-boy"
and the backmesh is one massive soft mesh which doesn't really promote good air flow across my entire back, and I sweat alot and very easily too.

I went from Thule Crossover Duffel Pack 40L (for travels) to Thule Vea Backpack 17L (for work) and fell in love with the quick access zip to all my stuff but it got a bit too cramped for my stuff and I went for the Synapse 25.

Synapse 25 came, tried it for 2 weeks and found it to be too "roomy" so I went to look for a better fit. Ended up with Aer Fit Pack 2 during the Black Friday sales.

I have no issues with the front fidlocks.

Initial errant have this issues .. but so far... This error is lesser and lesser

The PD backpack I feel, is more engineered for photographers.

Is Synapse 25 suitable for edc ? thinking of getting either Synapse 25 or Synapse 19.

Well it depends on the items you carry for EDC

For minimalist EDC. Synapse 17 and fitpack2 are great choice

But if you are those who brings a zillion EDC things, then a 25L or 30L backpack would be better for you

Depends on how much you carry. I carry light and love the space for my sweater and I'm about 5'8 tall.

Ahhh... Then check out the WANDRD PRVKE ROLLTOP 20L, Arktype dashpack 15L

The back panel mesh has a secret compartment to keep important things like passports and bifold wallets.

actually are you in a rush? if not, you can be like me, just wait for BS to clear up their backlogs and give some time for them settle down, i believe their QC issues will be rectified in future runs of their bags....
