Mine is diameter 2 inches.
Thanks for the ideas however dont think i will go that route. Still considering how to secure it. Only incomplete method so far can come up with is to somehow secure it using the front hidden webbing.

ya cuz i've never seen anyone doing DIY sewing on VX material before. so the best (and the ones which i recommended) is actually to hook on the front hidden webbings de :D

I wouldn’t dare to “poke” any holes (even tiny holes like sewing needle) into the bag material 😂

Is the granville zip16 really 20L ish? I scared too small...

Considering granville 20, went campers corner today, and they have both old version (with magnetic flips and large compartment opening) at $350, and new version (with zippered flip which makes opening smaller) at $300.

Which granville will you get?

16 looks good and slick to me. not too big = wont really worry about overloading it.

one ez way to gauge would be say your usual laptop or books, then see if can fit your exercise clothes, shoes and toiletries in.... 16L may be a stretch

never really liked the big foldover flap thingy look, but flap closure = can have capacity to overexpand, just lash down the flap.

The 16 can definitely hold about 20L if you get creative with your packing...like I posted previously I could fit shoes, clothes, tech pouches, toiletries & a water bottle into it.

If you're worried, why not bring your usual EDC to campers corner and test out fitting your stuff into both bags? I recommend the Novena outlet as it's open on Sundays and is usually not as crowded compared to the main outlet.

just to manage expectations, the zips will continue to be stiffer den your usual bags because it is a water-resistant zip

A couple of questions for axiom 18/24 users
- does the paint, on the metal zipper, chip off after some time? (I notice my previous citadel does)
- I notice white marking (like chalk marks) along the zipper covering. What you use to remove them? I previously use wet tissue & the whiteness remains. Nothing major but would love to see if can remove.

I don't own one but I read that vx21 is a material that doesn't do well against abrasion but it's lightweight and extremely water resistant.

Roger that. Thanks. To clarify, for the paint I referring to the metal zipper. As for the white patch ( that looks like chalk marks), so far affected area I have noticed is more so on the hypalon material near the zipper.
