Does anyone have any recommendation for an internal bag divider that can provide some structure and padding for laptop and organize some small items?

I bought an old school canvas backpack that is no doubt very tough and long lasting but find that it does not stand on its own unless filled to 3/4 or max and with just two compartments, quite difficult to organize stuff.

This additional 10% is for online only or also the stores?

Looked through the thread and decided I'm very keen on Filson 256.

Bag creature selling at $340+, seems reasonable.

Not very knowledgeable about the various online stores. revolve or the main website dont seem to have any sales price. Any help appreciated.

*original filson website seem to have custom embossing

Any place locally that can help modify canvas backpack i.e. Add leather tags, grab handle or side pockets?

Go carousell, quite a number of sellers letting go of their filson 256. Got 4 colors - tan, navy, brown and olive for you to choose :s13: no point getting from local shops like denimstore and robinson at their retail price.

I'm interested to know also, need some place locally that can help fix torn leather straps or handles at a reasonable price in the future. :s12:

Been carrying my favourite Black Tatonka Andro 20 for nearly 7-8 years for work & normal outing.

Another year has past & finally found a reasonable replacement for my 9 year old Tatonka Andro 20 which is getting pretty rundown.

Timbuk2 Especial Medio Cycling Laptop Backpack. Apparently version 1 came out in 2013. Current Version 2 in 2014.

I was pretty much sold base on physical appearance. :D

First impressions?

Pros:
- Slim rectangular profile. This is one of the main deciding factor. No 'short' & 'stout' bags for me

- A huge plus for me is the multiple pockets to stash items accessible at the front without opening the main compartment.

- water resistance. (I have yet to verify that base on my own experience)

- reasonable looking back panel & straps. (Better than Andro's X Vent Vario Carrying-System? We shall see.)

- Black/Gunmetal looks pretty good. Would prefer an ALL BLACK but still acceptable

Cons:
- I pretty much hate the inner color. Its like a "screaming" blue to me. Prefer something more covert

- Main compartment is just one big ass compartment.
No way to split it into 2 parts & not accessible from the base, unlike the Andro

- Main compartment is well........just 1 main compartment.
Granted there is 1 flimsy mesh pocket & another big slot for notebook. But that's it!
For their premium product I Would expect more organizational zipper pockets internally as well.
This was a disappointment

How is it gonna fair? Can it go the distance like the Andro? Till the review if there is one.

Haha at least it's not like my Timbuk2s and Mission Workshop. One velcro rip and the whole room is staring at you. :s13:

Sign... unfortunately 2 of the pockets uses velcro as well. I did forgot to mention that. :D

Hi guys, just wanted to check if anybody wants to get the Goruck GR2 backpack.

Currently i'm setting up an interest check here https://www.grouphunt.sg/posts/LMWn...tough-extra-durable-backpack-for-daily-hiking

If we manage to get enough people, the guys in the website can negotiate them for a better price. as low as prices during the black friday USD 260 or SGD 360.
that's a cool USD130 off the original price. which is USD399

gorucks does free shipping as well if purchase is more than USD500 so presumably for MO they will ship everything for free.
