Hi, sorry I am new here.

I saw quite a few replies on the brands that are not particularly well-known here.
May I know, how can we verify if these brands can work with local telcos network?

I am interested in the following:

- Ulefone T1
- Doogee BL7000


But currently is hesitant in buying because I am not sure if they work with the network.
And also does anyone know if there are any service centre or third party servicing providers for these brands?

Errr.....seriously? Even recently released flagships like Oneplus 5t and razer phone shipped with android 7.1, so i dont see how this is even a deal breaker. If you are worried that lesser MIC brand phones wont get updates to newer android versions, thats pretty much something you have to live with when purchasing these budget MIC phones. Anyway the 1st 1000 pcs allocation for the K6 going at USD$200 is almost sold out. The next 1000 pcs will see a price bump of USD$30 which i think makes the deal alot less attractive.

for these type of phones, I'm more concerned about whether both SIM slots can work 4G/3G simultaneously. the vernee appollo that i have only allows 2G on the other slot.

You wont find any. There arnt any local sellers per se. You can find a few on carousell selling for around $300-$400 but they also order from overseas only after you make full payment.

Since there isnt even local warranty, you might as well just purchase it cheap from sites like gearbest, geekbuying or banggood. If you want it fast, pay more for expedited shipping. If you are worried about these sites, purchase using paypal for better ease of mind.

just got a 2nd hand vernee mix 2 for a decent $180.. i would say its in brand new conidition with everything in tact.. i think its a good buy at that price..

this set is pretty fantastic on initial impressions..

then comes the drop..
DBS bank app seems to work super slowly and or hanging often..
external speakers is way way way below average.. horrible i would say..
gaming wise still decent.. with drop framerates at times but still able to keep up.. (mediatek issues definitely, same with xiaomi redmi note 4 mediatek version)
screen is amazing.. sharp + bright.. FHD+ benefits.. battery wise, haven fully charged and test it yet though but seems ok..

all in all, at the price for $180 in brand new condition.. i think its a good deal and can say it performs well for that price point.. i dont think i would pay more than $250 for it as at that price, top up a little more can get mi max 2 / mi a1 which performs at least 2-3x better..

will try maze alpha x and doogee mix if i manage to get my hands on them and if they are at good pricing but then again.. i kinda seriously hate mediatek processors.. cheap and really perform cheaply.. LOL

Get a 2nd hand OnePlus 3 for 2xx. Sd820 which is fast with 6gb RAM.. all these mediatek phones are really not worth it irregardless of the price imo.. too much compromises on hardware, skimpy or no updates on software.

Have la, check carousell. You also need to bargain bro. Today don't hv check tmr lor. Recently, someone traded in his op3t for 250.. lol
Op3 hv plenty of software support on xda much better than none on some lesser brand that not many uses.
