yup you are right, the 76 is for non astig well infact acuvue lens prices actually went up after the 7% GST kicks in thats when you get funny figure with $XX.XX instead of whole amount, but most neighbourhood shops under competition will wave off the increment. but there are many shops in some* places that sell lenses at really cheap price -usually if you buy in bulk-1 year supply

I was referring to the one with astig. Awayaway got astig.
Not 76. Should be 120 to 130. Astig more expensive.

so the blurriness ease away after sometime of blinking?

the ASD of acuvue astig lens as mentioned only require you to pop in the lens as per normal and using blinking power to reorientate the lens to the correct position, so long the lens can get into the right position soon after you pop in then its alright

if this happen nex time, you may wan to remove ur lens, n insert again, it may not be inserted properly, you know how sometime the lens can be stuck to corner of our eye and it take hell lot of blinking jus to slowly shift it back to the position, otherwise you may have worn the lens inverted n that may cause blurry as the lens is not fitted properly

usually blinkblink ok liao

I dunno much about coloured lens size in the market between competitors but i know alot about the adverse health effect n risk of wearing them, to me, one should never wear colour contacts for more than 8hrs/day n 3x/week

as a matter of fact no matter what type of lens you are wearing, and the claims by the manufacturer, for a better eye health, wearing of contact lens should not exceed 8hrs/day n no more than 5 days/week..but we all know its quite hard living in city like Singapore where most of us, contact lens is the first thing u pop into ur eye n the las thing u remove b4 u slp

so by wearing lenses that has higher O2 flux, water retention, n less rigid coupled with good lens care such as effective lens rubbing will reduce the damage to our eye...but its a must to give your eye at least 2 days of rest each week for such intensive long hours of wearing otherwise down the road you will soon realise 'how come the lens seems to get drier by the days compared to 5 years ago when i just started wearing it?'

there is no astig correction for cylinder power below 75, that a regular lens will do unless the eye examination n your expectation says otherwise, 76+-*
ur right eye will need astig correction and the price is 120-130*

*price stated is only for acuvue series- acuvue-2 n not applicable for acuvue oasys, no doubt there is strict price control for all acuvue lenses, you will still be able to get it cheaper at some places*

to know the actual retail price for acuvue lens, jus hit any major stores like nan yang, capitol, paris miki, n you will be able to use that as a gauge for maximum price you pay

B&L 59/comfort are the same thing just different naming, the lens has a center thickness of 0.14mm at -3.00 compared to other brand/series that is only 0.7-0.9 at -3.00 . the thickness n the roughness of the lens cause by mould casting manufacturing method with no surface treatment may increase the probability of getting serve papillary conjunctivitis if proper care is not given n though the wear is intended for 2 weeks but most shops will promote it as monthly wear.

price of lens should not be a determining factor

pls consider the quality of lens n fitting of lens then look for the cheapest price for that lens
