ya thats only true for hydrogel lens like oasis, day n night, O2 optix etc but for 55/38 they are just regular hydrogel lens which is very much influenced by the environment, wearer tear duct activeness and the fitting
lol those are silicone hydrogels. All lenses are affected by these factors not only in regular hydrogels. Tear ducts are just ducts. They are not active in anyway. Tears are pushed by the eyelids movement. Seriously people should just switch to these advanced lenses as oxygen is really impoortant for the maintainence of the corneal health.

hi, i have been using freshkon colour lens for about a month. Which brand is better in terms of comfort, freshkon or freshlook?

And let say, i wear from 7am 5pm. then i take out and soak it. Can i use it again at 8pm? Or do i hav to soak it for at least 6hours?

dont over wear your lenses la. max wear time 8-10hrs a day. dont overwear esp. coloured lenses and normal hydrogel lenses. they have low oxygen supply to ur eyes. very bad for the cornea. comfort depends on urself u have to try the lenses out to determine comfort.

thought both high/low water content got pros and cons de..if u haf natural dry eyes and if u wear high water content lens which allows more oxygen to pass through, this type of lens also need more moisture to maintain watever thingy, when having not enough moisture,it will auto suck the moisture from ur eye also?

when moisture from lens surface evaporate, it draws water from inside the lens which thereafter leads to the moisture from the eye being drawn into the lens. nuff said.

Freshkon and freshlook,

freshlook is better rite? becos the price is bout twice of freshkon.

Recently , my lense in the left eye keep sliding upwards . Put eyedrops oso cant make the lens to keep in place. then aft a while , it will get stuck in the upper eyelid.

I try moving the len down using my fingers, but after blinking , it goes up again.

Anyidea why it happen? My right eye does not have such problems.

what are the advanced lenses? I'm using acuvue moist, is it considered 'advanced' lenses?

moist is not silicon hydrogel based lens..it functions on what acuvue calls it the LACREON tech..basically it has added a minute amount of hydrophilic polymer into the lens.. due to that nature moisture is retained within the lens for longer period, the lens also caused less friction with eyelid thanks to a layer of moisture cushion.. it works perfectly fine for daily disposal..silicon hydrogel would be too ex..n can be too rigid for comfort.. though it can be mixed with hydrogel..but btm line is cost/demand...maybe in the future there will be silicon hydrogel dailies ha
