Looking to get a dior homme jeans. But all the Japanese denim on their site are raw denim. Do they sell washed version? I’m at the stage in life where I just don’t want to deal with raw denim and all the color transfer any more.
i think MIJ phasing out, mostly Italy this season, but i think Italy quality is quite good too. Got a slim cut washed italy about 6 years back, recently tore and mbs dior help me patch it up foc, excellent service

MIJ are phasing out? This is something new never heard before. If I am not wrong, MIJ has always and still the premium choice for denimheads

i might be wrong, but the mij selection is very tiny compared to the italian made ones.

was there recently and was told mij only had straight cut, ended up getting a pair of italian raws with oblique prints in slim cut

Selection at where??? Locally it's either denim d artisan or The Denim Store, but iirc both don't store Italian. The former seems to promote nudies, but the staff will advise against if you are already a MIJ collector. TDS I have not visited since they moved so I have no idea their current stock.

I see... Since my first Japanese brand denim, I don't look back. Samurai Jeans, Oni Denim, The Flat Head. I am waiting for d artisan to announce any new contest after the TFH before I decide what is the next MIJ. Else my next hoot should be Big John R008. It's so hard to find my size

i haven't been buying much, no time and energy for raw jeans anymore. Recent dior was just spur of the moment since I brought my old pair back for them to help me mend. Recently just dump a few pairs away also

now have just 2 pairs of diors, 1 evisu no.2 that i wear, the rest of the time mostly in track pants or something more comfy liao haha
