Last weekend was flying Spark at AMK park, also got caught in the rain again.

I stop flying drones this weekend and next weekend. Until the 12Jun summit is over. Do not want to give the local police more job. The police should be nervous and panicking when seeing drones around now.

For those flying Tello,
I'm not using any wifi extender. But someone from youtube sent me his Tello video with wifi extender, and the result is very good. Much better than mine.

I do not think Mark, Hesper, or Idol drones are anyway better than 2yr old Zerotech Dobby currently selling at ~S$170 on amazon. And Zerotech Dobby comes with GPS. May be Mark, Hesper, Idol have longer flight time because of larger size and bigger propellers? Dobby is only 200g. If me I would rather grab a Dobby.

If say not willing to spend 600+ for a Spark Fly More, may be can try buy an used Spark Fly More from Carousell. Sometimes the price is around S$450 for used fly more.

Other older drones like Bebop 1 is selling at around US$150, bebop 2 (25min) should soon drop to <US$250. Best is still grab a used Spark Fly More at ~S$450.

where is hwzlite ah? On DJI Go4, how to force Spark not to use 5.8GHz and stay at 2.4GHz for Remote control?

Contributing a few DJI footage / films

Latest film made , depicting some mediocre drone battle , just a starter for such genre though.

A tilt shift / diorama style film from a real life location

Then a trick shot too.

Just need a little explaination for such trick shots done because I'm sure some will come here and flame me say WTF is this ** trick shot when I don't even see any trick ?
You only need to observe how it's done, that all.

There is a used Phantom 4 at S$800 on Carousell now with extra battery, another 2 selling at S$900.

For Phantom 4 or Mavic, better just grab some half priced used set on Carousell. If you get new ones, fly it for few times it also becomes halved value.

For Spark then you go get a new set, because used set has little price difference from new set.

And I do not think there is a lot of "extra goodies" switching from Spark to Mavic/Phantom. Spark is famous for suka suka drop off from sky (battery problem on old firmware). Every time when I fly a Spark above water, I would think "if this crap spark suddenly drops into water by itself, I will still buy another basic spark unit, not motivated to switch over to Mavic/Phantom".

I know sparks is solid. Been saving for months to get it. Just that my style of flying is always test limits I like to fly far far away . Mavic Pro FCC is 7km, reality with interference smelly smelly also can fly 5km I Guess. Which I LIKE!

what you are doing is: cure your finger itchiness, and NOT really needing the extra power of Mavic for e.g it's 4K and extra flight time.

so better just go grab a used Mavic set at <S$1k... leaving you S$800 extra for a used Phantom 4 when your finger itchy relapses...
