I'm using sparks with the latest firmware and I have a message that says GPS maximum altitude 60m....wtf....i can't go higher despite I set within dji go app as 500m height limit. Is this happening to anyone else?

caas regulatory is 200ft ceiling = 60m. I believe dji software are design to prevent you from breaking those regulation, including attempt to take off from within NFZ

But the last I fly around 4 months ago I could go much higher around 400 m... Just want to confirm if other sparks owner also experienced the 60m max altitude.

Footnote: Spotted camaraderie drone (or UFO?) @ 1:13mins

Hi wanna know is dji sparks still worth to get? Or am i able to do with mjx bugs 5w?

if using for bashing/racing only, bugs5 should be good enough. Check with blade81, he flew a bugs3 before.

if using for aerial photography, then DJI Spark, Hubsan H117S, JJRC X9, Dobby needed (Spark or H117S preferred). Check with hwzlite, he is our expert in Spark here.

I do not think bugs5's single axis gimbal is stabilizing the camera. I think it is more like for remote control tilting only. I had played with single axis gimbal a year ago.

A few questions hopping someone experienced in this field can help out.

I'd a oversea friend working in the tourism industry coming to SG to film a few videos for his company. He asked if flying a drones around mount faber park was allowed and if there's any restrictions around it? If not, is there any ways he can apply for a permit to do it?

(I read somewhere that parks under NEA are not allowed, but some laws doesn't state Mount Faber in it. I'm quite puzzle about this.)
