Hi,
I just bought a new Spark, but the DJI GO app always prompt me to compass calibrate in the aircraft status beside the normal indication. I did calibrate the compass each time it showed in the aircraft status screen.
Can I know why this compass calibrate prompt is always appearing in the aircraft status whenever I am connected to spark on the DJI GO application? Even though I did calibrate compass and is successfully, the next time I am connected, the aircraft status still reflect compass calibrate but has normal indication.
Sorry, I don't know how to upload the photo here as it is link to a URL taken on the aircraft status screen. Thanks in advance for any good help and advises.
Hi, it should not be. I bought and flew my spark for a year, and only did the compass calibration twice.
Do not try to launch your spark near metal, or some concrete above drainage or pavement (there is metal inside concrete). Try place your foam box on grass, and launch your spark on top of the foam box.
Spark has the advantage of palm launch and palm landing. Normally i use palm launch/landing to avoid compass problem, and also protecting the camera/motors.
Have fun flying your spark!!
