Hi all
Had you purchase any drone from online platform banggood or gearbest? Any issues you had encounter if you had bought from them previously?

Thanks

so far quite ok from banggood or gearbest, bought 2 handphones, 4 drones including my mavic2, and few sports cameras. I only got one cheap brushless drone from banggood came as defective on arrival, and banggood refused to do anything. I got the drone repaired by myself.

go check with blade81, I remember he got some DIY drone parts from banggood came as defective. He got ways to force banggood for replacement.

not recommended to buy drones from banggood or gearbest, normally you can get cheaper from lazada,... go check with our cheap drone lobangs expert=Mr hwzlite here... :D

Thank you Quadcopter,

Currently i have a budget drone, xk-x300(13-15min flight, 720p)nothing fanciful. Thinking of an upgrade of 1080p, gps, follow me and reasonable range. I know mostly will suggest dji spark but is not within my budget.

Survey around and found this specific drone sjrc f11 or z5. (foldable too) plus point.

Any suggestion/feedback whether the above drone sjrc z5 or f11 is good?

Thanks

Hi, I got no idea about SJRC Z5 or F11. but try get something with stabilized video.

if you ask me what to get, my suggestion would be spend a bit more and get... (all have stabilized video)
a) an used Bebop 2, GPS, Non-foldable, sometimes it could be as low as S$300 on carousell
b) zerotech dobby, GPS, foldable, sometimes it could be as low as US$150 on amazon (problem of 8min flight time, might get a dead battery when goods arrives as product is 2yr old)
c) Xiaomi Fimi A3, GPS, Non-foldable, banggood selling at S$390, new customer got 10% discount
d) Xiaomi Fimi X8, GPS, foldable, banggood selling at S$690, new customer got 10% discount

don't spend too much on drones if your main objective is some drone bashing/exploration, and not aerial photography. Used set would be value for $$. I do not own or flew before any these Bebop, Dobby or Fimi hor....

I would want to get a Fimi X8 if i need a drone for oversea tour.

Stabilized video vs non-stabilized video

hi guys, i just want to check, anyone brought their drone to europe and flew there? i've been seeing some countries with strict requirements.

in particular, been checking out netherlands, belgium, germany and switzerland. belgium requires some sort of license, and i see alot of mention on insurance.

what will be a good model for beginner?

i wanna start with some basic flying, get a good hang of it, then move on to aerial photography.

my friend suggested to move straight to a more 'pro' model like mavic 2, treat it as long term investment...

what you guys think?

Different countries have different regulations, you need to search for their regulations. Those youtube video you saw might not be legally shot

Got for DJI Mavic air, Mavic pro is too expensive for a beginner and each year there's new model and better, there's no such thing as long term except you buying those commercial drone that mount a DSLR camera but that will easily cost you $10K and above and also require license to fly.

Singapore don't have many legal place to fly just FYI

I suppose what he meant by 'long term' is avoid those toy drones you will outgrow easily if you wanna go serious.

What about Parrot side? Anything similar or worth checking out?

Yes I was told got this no fly map to check out online.

The only spot you can fly in singapore is marina barrage and total no fly zone during big national celebration like the NDP and countdown

Parrot side dont bother, their tech is still not there yet

Before I purchase bro, do we have restrictions now here ?

All the while Singapore has restriction, the only legal place to fly is marina barrage. If you happen to see ppl flying drone at coney island or so, those are illegal as is within 5km to airbase and military facilities
