i got an offer of $75 for a brand new sealed xiaomi MITU drone. not sure to dive in anot. use to fly abit of those small hubsan drone and also tried my friends DJI sparks before.

what are you all views on it? researched alot and torn between this and Tello

I do not think there is any law or regulation prohibiting this yet. But just go take some videos/photos and complain to CAAS, seems like they will handle this.

CAAS will not be able to catch up with technology in time. There will be delivery drones, police drones, building maintenance/inspection drones, and CAAS have to setup the correct regulations about drones vs privacy.

normal drone flyers will not want to fly drones near to buildings, compass will get jammed by metal inside concrete, wifi/RF communication will be blocked by building, GPS positioning signals get reflections. The drone will get crashed easily.

No , officially cannot launch/land under private property. Flying over still can , hint hint like from Kepple Bay

saw the parrot anafi not bad at IT Show level 6. the extended edition going for 1399. cant rmb is 2 battery plus existing or 1 existing plus 1 more free. 25 minutes flight time is the lure factory plus the hovering quite stable when i saw the guy demo.

pre-order only and not shipped yet, so any drone problems not known yet...

so far from youtube the only complaint is blue-ish camera/video under cold environment. That should be OK in s'pore.

the other problem i find is difficult to buy extra batteries in s'pore.

this drone is already price/performance bargain like what hwzlite said. alternate is to get a used Mavic Pro from Carousell.
