mavic should be heavier and more powerful than bebop 2. you have to look at an unfolded mavic, it is big. if still worried then get a phantom 4, this one 1.4kg and 2212 motors sure can fight all the winds... and don't ever get that 0.3kg dji spark. :s8:

don't mind with one question: does your wife happen to have a younger sister still single, and likes drones??.. :s13:

have fun, and happy new year 2018!!.. :s8:

no single younger sister. we are old farts liao, reaching 50 in a couple of years.

don't know what brands, all i know are they are those toy types, wouldn't cost more than 100 each.

where to get a mavic pro?

anything <S$100 are cheap brushed motor drones at around 0.1-0.15kg. All these type of drones cannot fly in slight windy days.

for flying under windy s'pore outdoor, minimum has to be a hubsan H501S, Bug2 and etc. These are brushless motor drones at around S$250-300. These drones also having GPS and will locked into certain fixed position. Those <S$100 drones do not have GPS.

a 0.3kg dji spark is already capable of flying under windy condition in s'pore. If you get the 0.7kg mavic pro, sure can fly much much better than the 5 cheap drones that previously crashed.

you can get a mavic pro from hachi/challenger at S$1699 now. But i think lazada/qoo10 should be cheaper.

have fun, and happy new year 2018!!.. :s8:

=> watch that mavic inside this video.

Mavic is a better upgrade for Spark because of the 3-axis gimbal. Very steady. I am a beginner drone cadet. I only have one tiny winy hubscan drone before (don't even fly outdoor - it is so difficult to control even indoor). Now I just got my Spark and satisfy with it. Perhaps I will upgrade to Mavic or even newer drone (ie. better tech) from dji (I like the founder/CEO dedication to his passion - drone - he works like steve job). Sadly, there are too many nfz here and many ppl like to storm ppl here . Best is to bring to M'sia. The only nfz is near airport there. Ha.

:( My beecore v2 is due to arrive soon
Hoping it'll be fine
Im sure you wont be as suey as me. Bought a micro racing drone. Took 1 month to arrive but arrive with dying vtx. Cant get pass 10 metres without losing fpv transmission. Replacement gonna take another few weeks. I was thinking oh well at least i still got my beecore v2 to keep me entertain. Yet it Arrive with a dead esc... Fml
Thinking of building a micro brushless for indoors. Thinking brushless eventually last longer while brushed motors die pretty fast. Killed 3 out of 4 of my jjrc h36 motors in probably 2 months

ey,
beecore v2 how you guys install the OSD in? you need video-in and video-out signals to the F3 flight controller card? so separate fpv camera and VTX?

You can get an AIO vtx+camera with osd. Lots of choices available and you can even get it locally.
The osd camera will come with 4 wires instead of the usual 3

ok, thanks,.... i think if i get one will get the eachine beecore V1 (without OSD on flight controller) then.

i searched this "beecore omnibus" on aliexpress,
no receiver, support 5A brushless & OSD, S$32
my only problem is for 1S only and not 2S for brushless, else it would be very interesting...
may be i will use an eachine brushed beecore V1 F3 flight controller.

I Dont see the need for rssi, vbat, etc considering the kind of range i will fly the whoop around... 25mW aio fpv camera with simple vcc n gnd will do the job. If u worry about losing the thing after crashing. Installing a beeper around 1.3g would be much better
