I had the 19500kv on my jjrc h36 but i didnt seem much improvement. maybe its limitation to the board that the motors couldnt run at full potential.
i probably take it out and fix onto my whoop see if it improves the performance.or buy the 25000kv because i really like how the high powered quads fly. Not sure if u have flown furibee f36, those are powerful that they can do manual flips and rolls. But even so it couldnt do a powerloop since its stuck in angle mode.
My current frame which is 65mm wheelbase probably wont fit 0716 motors.

What flight controller are you using?
Are you on jst-ph 2.0 connector?

I was using stock JJRC h36 board, non-betaflight/cleanflight board with betafpv 0615 19500kv, it was pretty disappointing as I did not really see any increase in performance. maybe the board has default setting to run the motors at specific rate only.. I don't really know but I chuck it aside and played with furibee f36 more instead back

yes already using JST ph 2.0, its the white color 2 pin bigger size compared to the Micro JST PH 1.25and not the Micro JST red colored

WTS: Parrot Bebop 2 Power FPV Pack for $1000 (Local Warranty)

I want to sell my unused Parrot Bebop 2 which I collected yesterday from Eng Siang. My Bebop 2 was damaged and they offer me a upgrade to bepob 2 power.

Before my kiddo-self cannot resist and start to play with it, I wanted to see if any serious buyer wants it as I also dun think I have the time for drone flying nowadays.

This comes with the followme software code (not used)

Comes with Drone lessons

Note:
box is opened (just to check the contents)
the box has some damaged (when I collect from eng Siang)

If you are interested, I will also throw in my Lowerpro drone bag (used) with (extra 6 propeller) from my previous Bebop 2.

Hi all, I just got my DJI Mavic Air and realised that DJI doesn't provide the Care Refresh in Singapore.

So I was wondering if it's worth it to get the Care Refresh for DJI Drone fufilled by Challenger? $455 for 12 months? :s11:

The kkopter gas a max value of $2000, means you can only replace the mavic air twice (mavic air ~$1000) if they count one time replacement at full value. If you compare the $455 cost vs DJI Care, it's like you pay the replacement and shipping costs upfront for the former regardless whether there's any replacement. They are other differences but mainly is shorter lead time to get back your drone for kkopter.

i think i will just get dji refresh. pay only when you need it.

Guess the only attractive term is that public liability coverage of $100000, esp for heavyweight drones :s22:

Should i get a gopro for drone?

I rather that u invest in a decent drone with decent camera. I tried to fit a Gopro onto a Visuo... Sure it works but the visuo had to work extra hard to carry the gopro. Imagine no way of viewing what the gopro is filming, and no gimbal to stablize the video. I tried the above and it was just not worth it. Decent good drone with good camera is Spark.

If i got $$$ to burn, 360camera is the new fav :s12:

Are you using the default JJRC H36 lipo? It is indeed using the JST PH2.0 but it's pretty small at 150mah. I don't think that lipo is suitable for 615 19500kv motors. The FC is also a limitation factor.

Feel free to drop by Blk 71 Ayer Rajah Cresent, #02-01 at 3pm today if you wanna check out what gear we are using. :)

drone insurance

Hello all drone hobbyists,
I am new to this drone hobby, i read up a lot on DJI, Cyma, parrot and some popular drones brands and in the end i got myself a china made MJX Bugs 2 drone with GPS, altitude hold, 5Ghz range. $200. very decent and easy to use, so far i crash once out of the many times flying it and it was scary enough for me to ask this question. The crash was due to the fact that it did not get a good gps lock before i took off, so it veered off to the side once it took off.
Thankfully it did not hurt anyone during my crash.
I was thinking if any of you are aware of any liability insurance that will cover me when the drone i am flying crash and injured someone or someone's property? I am thinking of bringing this drone to europe to take some aerial footage and is worried if the drone once again go crazy and crash. Of cos the usual common sense applies here, we fly it responsibly and not over areas with human traffic or property, but sh*t happens. Anyone knows if there is such insurance? I check that the liability insurance portion of travel insurance does not cover usage of drones.

I am not sure if any drone-related insurance is available. and to be honest I have never considered them

but as a fellow drone user, I do my pre-flight test every time I go flying to minimize the possible risk.
I usually perform the standard take off and hover, check my signal strength and perform a range test. unlike your GPS capable drones. . I also make sure all the nuts and screws are re-tighten. my drone is setup to failsafe by cutting motors completely so it will drop like a stone. at any moment notice, I can toggle the failsafe and kill the motors so it will drop, hopefully minimizing the chance of injury or property damage.

my friend just lose his MJX Bugs2c 3 weeks back with the same problem you encountered. Which he didn't get a good satellite lock (6 or more sats links) before taking off, it flew off aggressively to one direction and when my friend kind of panic and toggle on RTH, the drone flew off to somewhere else since it didn't capture the launch point coordinates..

His drone was never recovered and as what I understand, he was going around searching for it (big field area about 8 soccer fields in the west side) but as it suddenly rain heavily and he abandon the search and bought a 2nd drone instead.

generally make sure you perform your pre-flight test so you know everything is working as design.

Calibration, GPS sat links, Signal strength, battery checks and fly within the drone's design limits.
