Saw news 2 caught for flying in punggol. Abit scared so want to make sure...

All places not marked in flywhere can fly? Is the max height 60m for those fly-able places, higher need permit?

Seems like it. Since they both flew in punggol and it is within the 5km demarcation based on flywhere.

The rule is simple, no flying 5km radius from airbase and airport. And they were within 5km radius of Paya Lebar airbase.

Where do you register your drone. All over the news but I cannot find the right link.

I see this but it seems its for permit to fly. https://appserver1.caas.gov.sg/CAAS-UMA/welcomeInt.do

My Mavic Pro is registered to US FAA which cost me 5 bucks. Wonder what is the cost for Singapore. I don't really fly in Singapore as its restricted with too many airports all over the island leaving very few areas to fly.

Hi all, newbie here. Recently got an F11 but it's broken in less than a month. Are there any technician around who can repair it at reasonable cost? Those China drones are such a disappointment. So much online rave about F11. After getting it, I quickly realised it's not even comparable with the spark. What a let down!

can try..
1) go search carousell, there are quite few drones repair services. But my guess of likely they got no spare F11 parts and unable to repair. Most repairs are on DJI drones
2) if you know a bit of mechanical assembly and soldering, go taobao and search+buy the F11 parts. Then do your own simple repair.
3) Wait for someone selling a cheap used F11 on carousell in future.

it looks easy but actually its quite tough to navigate.

not that difficult if you spend a bit more and get a used Spark/Tello, don't start with a racing drone. Trust me,.. is easy to control a Spark/Tello.

after that then proceed to sharpening your flying skill with a racing drone..

I have something similar.
Technically that's a cine whoop meant to carry gp7 or equalvilant for slow-close cinematic shots. https://youtu.be/huEJOpVEpXc

haha, GroPro7, 4-5min? I bet yours is 5in, no whoops...

I need whoops, more shiok... I do not know why whoops are more stable flying, may be i lousy flyer, but it is definitely safer :s13:

that 3" whoop frame ended up will be >250g after full assembly. I do not know what will be the next CAAS announcement. May be CAAS will require all 250g or heavier drones to register. So now I cannot build anything... :(

and, try change your 5" to this remote control and camera, can go 4km! :D

wow!! very shiok!! like you quad!!... 3" can fly 4-5min is really good... next time can build one for me??... :s13:
your TX can go 40KM, but your video goes only 300m also useless wah?... that dji fpv also gives 720p...:D

btw, Jumper T12 better or FrSky X9 Lite better? i'm getting a TinyHawkS for my own training but that stupid quad only supports FrSky.

If I can fly fpv with that TinyHawkS, eventually i will get a Tiny Whoop with Caddx Tarsier, something like 90g eachine cinecan. Record video at 1440p and digitally stabilize the video on desktop to 10080p. I do not know what CAAS would do to all the >250g quad next...

with a good battery and efficient motors yes u can fly 5 minute slow cinematic flights. eh u started building when i just start flying, y u wan me to build

well actually 200mw can give u up to 2km range.
some vtx can transmit up 800-2000mw so u get the idea, vtx transmission is not the restrictive part.
constrain is battery, and the fact u risk losing your investment with an expensive camera on it.

i dont take unnecessary risk thus long range generally is not my thing
at times if i go to epic location i will go 1km out and turn back.
secondly, flying FPV non-stop for extended period of time is not enjoyable, cos unlike u dji folks can put the controller down and have a break while the drone does its gps return home. we have to stay focus and get our bearings and fly back manually

720p is nice to have, but the air unit is too big and bulk to actually fit inside a racing quad rite now and its freaking ex

i am using t12, the gimbals arent so good according to my friend but i have been using for quite some time now.
i nv tried x9d lite so cant tell.

i have a tarsier whoop. it doen't fly that well on 75mm whoop style frame. 60% throttle in order to hover.
