Why they still put the flagship phone only 64GB internal storage?
So archaic.

It's really sufficient right? You can use adoptable storage and push the storage capacity up to 256 GB + 64 GB... that's like laptop territory already leh...

I doubt it's the ram but becos Samsung has lots of background services running. I've posted a few workarounds that makes it more bearable. I think N8 gonna be worst with more services due to the pen stuff but we shall see.

agree. its not about the RAM entirely.

just hope for better optimizations on both hardware & software to make it smooth.

the leaked photos.. as usual .. note8 looks sleek! just curious on the dual camera. is it going to be better than the 7+?

I'ts not just about more RAM and optimisations... it's about how efficient the memory controller is... and how robust the API instructions are written so that you don't unnecessary leave stuff on the RAM, or jump through too many hoops to get something done... it's about how cleverly it is written given that Android isn't a closed eco-system...

Well because there is expandable microSD storage i Guess. It's much more cost efficient to have one standard storage option than having multiple variants in storage to prevent a imbalance demand..

Instead of writing all that, you can just call it optimization which I believe was mentioned

Just a bigger s8+ with stylus, nothing new :o the dual cam is their biggest weapon to fight with iPhone 8, let's hope they have better idea else up the sleeve or I fear iPhone will once again be the limelight of the year (like last year)...
Ya, without the dual cam, I will almost certainly just get the S8+ now

Can wait a while first in case got any fisaco  also the price can come down, win win situation

I think if really no need stylus can actually wait for s9+ le :o the idea of having a smaller battery size and bigger screen than s8+ isn't very attractive imo

If stylus isn't a must there's no reason to consider a Note lei.. out there, you have so many choices.. non-Samsung also have.. but if you want a good stylus on a mobile. Unfortunately theres only one in the market. That's a Note..

To make the phone narrower so that it's easier ty hold it? If you've tried the S8+ you'll find it much easier to hold...

yes, i like narrower phones as it is easier to grip with one hand more comfortably. Too wide and my hand will ache after holding the phone for quite some time.

S8+ makes sense to be narrower, but Note 8 should make it wider like how previous Notes always were, as people who are buying Note means they dun mind a bigger phone :o

Too wide and it is not ergonomic to hold for too long and can lead to hand fatigue and strain.

I rather have a phone that is comfortable to hold for long period of time.
