Want to share some of my favourites at the moment, but cant add vids or even links here, wat the **** is wrong with hwz, why this kind of ar3esh1t policies ?

reason being is that there are those who'd abused e system by spammin' unpleasant/distasteful/xrated pics .

don't ask me why they registered in this forum in e 1st place for that purpose .

Lol, sounds like Slayer with a sore throat. The riffs are blatantly copied from Angel of Death. They are better looking though.

hmmmm .. yea somewhat alike but then agn ...
it may/may not be intended .


from time to time there'll be comparisons of riffs that sounds similar/familiar .

So this is their second visit here? I didnt attend tat one but got the poster in my music room. I have read I mean, went thru about half of the pages in this thread. Wow, loads of stuff I haven heard of! I started out listening to hardcore punk and new wave. Metal mode at the moment.

Bros! A question for u knowledgeable metalheads. I roughly know how deathcore sounds like but what about slam death? Bands like Dying Fetus, Dyscarnate, Suicide Silence, which category do they fall into? Not tat its important but I'm just curious...

Think thrash metal more suitable for u... Megadeth, Metallica, Kreator, Sodom, Exodus, Pantera (not really thrash metal)... just a few bands I can think of right now...

U can try Gama Bomb or Warbringer...

The Haunted, Flotsam And Jetsam, though not new bands are worth listening to.

Of cos... the bands that I left out just now.. Destruction, Slayer, Holy Moses (Thrash metal's first female vocals), Witchery, Death Angel, Sepultura... and alot more others... some are hard to define as thrash, though they have thrash elements in their music or crossover thrash.. think Toxic Holocaust.....

@Uncle Skinheadbanger I think you'f be better off searching for thrash bands back in the 80s. I am not one of those guys that swear by a particular time period, music has moved on, some for the better, some for the worse. But just as there is no better baroque music than that from the early 18th century, there is no thrash like the 80s thrash.

I have never really made the difference between heavy metal, metal, hard rock and others. Really now, what makes the difference between these? Because I can make a difference between pop, rock, classical and hip-hop, for example, but not between these.
So, just to mention from my preferences: Nightwish, 3DG, Metallica
Hope I fit within the topic.

Nightwish is symphonic metal, Metallica is thrash metal and by 3DG i guess u mean 3 Day Grace...which is classified as alternative rock...
