Dailymotion, the world's second-largest video portal, is exclusively streaming the Bloodstock Open Air metal music festival live, globally, from August 9 through August 12.

The annual event, staged at Catton Park, Derbyshire in the United Kingdom, is one of the leading outdoor metal music festivals in the summer calendar.


Bloodstock will feature performances by artists and bands such as ALICE COOPER, MACHINE HEAD, SEPULTURA, PARADISE LOST, ANVIL, ORANGE GOBLIN and DREAMCATCHER.

The festival has been running since 2001, originating from an indoor festival. It now boasts three stages of cutting edge metal performance, with an attending audience of over 10,000.

Veteran hard rock bassist James Lomenzo (MEGADETH, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, DIO DISCIPLES, WHITE LION, HAIL!) is set to compete in the new season of "The Amazing Race", premiering on Sunday, September 30 at 8 p.m. EST.

The 11 teams hoping to win a grand prize of up to $2 million were announced by CBS today.

Lomenzo, 53, will compete with teammate Mark "Abba" Abbattista, 45, a friend, entertainment lawyer and HAIL! manager.

Heavy Metal Television, a live television station, streaming worldwide 24 hours a day in hi-def video and hi-fi audio, will launch on November 15.

The channel brings the classic MTV format back to life with band’s such as JUDAS PRIEST and IRON MAIDEN as well as newer bands like FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and SHINEDOWN.

The format will play conceptual videos presented by young VJs with short segments of rock news and interviews sprinkled throughout with heavy metal promos of all kinds driving the content. Concerts will be shown Saturday nights. Specialty programing is being developed.
