The vocalist is very good, he sounds a little like Dickinson also

used to listen more on old Helloween & Gamma Ray stuffs .
a bit of Dragonforce smtimes .

anw too much of it .. will sound repetitive .

Too much of a certain genre can get repetitive at times. Some bands bores me fast, even bands I like can get boring with too much listen.

And yeah old Helloween and Gamma Ray are damn classic. Dragonforce gets boring after awhile. Among the later bands I prefer Edguy and Dragonland is good too, anyone heard of them?

Always thought they are an alright band up until I heard their Astronomy album. Was particularly impressed by Beethoven's Nightmare.

Ya the name clashes with Dragonforce but they are not as famous. It's amusing how power metal bands always like to use fantasy names, then death metal bands will use those evil and gruesome sounding ones.

from e upcomin' "Elect the Dead Symphony" CD/DVD package released by Serjical Strike/Reprise Records on March 9 and made available from all retailers.

Tankian is also working on his second solo album, which is tentatively titled "Music Without Borders" and which the singer describes as "electro-orchestral-jazz-rock." He hopes to have the album out by late summer.

Tankian's band, SYSTEM OF A DOWN, has been on hiatus since late 2006 and shows no signs of regrouping any time soon.
