Where do you guys purchase pieces of raw leather?
hi guys
my wallet is a little torn in some areas due to wear and tear
anywhere i can get it mended for a small fee/
prada quoted me $160 siol wtf
anyone know of any place that sell deer bone?
thinking of getting one to "cleanup" my 5 years old shell cordovan compact bifold wallet
or if there's any other alternative n suggestions?
Chester Mox or..?
yup!
I've actually tried brushing & wiping with damp cloth BUT i think more can be done so am checking if there's any place selling Deer Bone. I've seen how deer bone is able to smooth out the nitty gritty scars online.
Attached pictures to garner better advise.

Can actually use the back of a spoon with some polishing cream. Your cordovan wallet should have enough oils left in it.
what sort of polishing cream?

I've actually managed to find a site that sells deer bone but package have yet arrive.
Meanwhile, i've been brushing it with horsehair brush followed by a short buff with a cotton cloth, daily.
The condition seems to have improved but i noticed that it has started to show different color under different lighting.
One minute it appears kinda purplish, then under the sun it'll have those very light tanned color and when indoor with natural light, it'll have those chestnut brown kind of color
