to me the black and nickel no difference eh. black is just powder coated on. then the buckle looks abit cheap to me too (no offence).

I got this awhile back. In transit now!

13 OZ. BELT - GOLDEN/BRASS

the brass buckle clearly is different from the nickel/black ones.

ask the expert here .... for leather shoes ... u noe when i first wear a new pair , there will be creases formed right?
how to reduce or remove them ah? mink oil can?

Creasing on leather shoe is inevitable, bo pian...
The fun part about leather and jeans the same, which is wat i love - you gotta keep using/wearing it and it become awesome naturally.
Keep wearing your new pair of leather shoes, once the rest of the areas of the shoe is also seasoned, the creasing will sort of 'blend-in'.
Same theory like the knee bulge for new jeans :)

Quite good deal for the free shipping.

If 4 people can buy together, might also escape the gst charges.

Who want to share, might come up to less than 105 for the tanner belt.

From top:
wrist strap from H&M
leather belt from H&M
leather belt from Topman

I quite like the Topman buckle which has a raw feel, the leather is claimed to be 100% real leather from Britain. But i suspect its going to have the same prob as my previous Topman 100% real leather belt too. Mink oil, but hardly see any drying even after 1day of airing...

oh ya, btw guys. Abt applying mink oil. For leather belts, the underside which is usually a little "hairy" or "furry", do u apply that side too? Or just the smooth side?

Er...actually, no need to apply underneath belt or boots or any leather stuff.
However, if you like your leather very much and want to keep it very very long, underneath is also important, hehe.

Whenever I apply mink oil on my RW, I'll also mink underneath the tougue, and the internal as far as possible. Extra attention on the stitches too.

External is top grain and naturally exposed to all weather, but internal is the split, hairy and not processed. It is enclosed and humid inside, esp in Singapore weather. Just leave it to dry before you wear it.

However, it is still up to u guys to maintain them :)
No right or wrong.

Yes, that is extreme care.
Down side is, it will drain your oil... Like I mentioned, even if oil the top side is ok.

but oil the inside, say for belt, wont it stain your jeans? Or oil the inside of shoes, wont the socks get dirty?
Or the oil supposed to fully fully absorbed in le?

Will stain :(
Need to leave it full soak for before you wear them.
Esp boots, not easy to gauge if the internal is soaked up.

My advice is for extreme care and have a few items to rotate while leaving them soak up.
If not, it will be up to you to decide. For me, I'll sure oil internal of boots but not for belts.
